The Acadiana Arts Council's Arts in Education program strives to make quality arts-in-education opportunities available to administrators, educators and students through performance, hands-on arts experiences, professional development training in the arts and funding. These co-curricular arts-in-education offerings are available to students in grades K-12 and to teachers of all disciplines.

AAC Partnership Awards
Partnership Awards support projects that will significantly enhance the cultural life of the community and promote local artists and arts and cultural organizations. Non-profit arts and cultural organizations in Lafayette Parish are eligible to apply. Applicants may request $500-$2,000 per application and may submit up to two applications, but may request no more than $3,000 per grant round. Grant awards must be matched dollar for dollar with applicant cash. Projects can include, but are not limited to, performances, exhibits, classes, workshops, technical assistance and the creation of new art works. Applications for the 2008 Partnership Award grant round are due by 4:30 p.m. Thursday, January 31, 2008 for projects taking place between February 15, 2008 and October 15, 2008. 2008 Partnership Awards Grant Documents
Partnership Award Logos - Partnership Award recipients are required to use the logos of the Acadiana Arts Council and the Lafayette Consolidated Government in all promotion and marketing materials.
