Professional Development Workshops
The Acadiana Arts Council’s Arts in Education department is again offering a program of professional development workshops for educators. Demonstrating practical and proven techniques for teaching in, about and through the arts, the workshops are designed for classroom educators but are also applicable to parents or those who work with children in any sort of teaching environment. All presenters are experts in their fields and include artists, educators and performers. All are highly experienced in working with children and educators.
All workshops take place at Acadiana Center for the Arts in downtown Lafayette . Space is limited and registration is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration fees are $10 per workshop, to include materials and refreshments. Lafayette Parish public educators are entitled to a reduced fee of $5 per workshop and can receive equivalency credit for participation. For more details or pre-registration, call (337) 233-7060 or email Info@AcadianaArtsCouncil.org. |
